Annual $1,500 scholarship supports adults age 50 and older who are returning to school
PALM CITY, Fla., Sept. 2, 2026 — Medigap Seminars is pleased to announce that Megan Hoppes of Roseville, California, has been selected as the winner of the 2026 Medigap Seminars Scholarship for Adult Students.
The annual $1,500 scholarship supports an adult student age 50 or older who has returned to school to complete a degree, advance an existing career, or pursue a new professional path.
Hoppes was selected following an evaluation of applicants’ Grade Point Averages, letters of recommendation, educational and career goals, and financial need. Applicants were also required to submit a personal statement describing their goals and history of community service.
We created this scholarship to recognize adults who are committed to improving their lives through education. We are proud to name Megan Hoppes as our 2026 recipient and support the next step in her educational journey.”
The scholarship funds will be paid directly to Hoppes’ educational institution and may be used for tuition, fees, and books.
